W.I.T. (Women in Touch) Ministry
The W.I.T. Ministry is made up of several different areas for women to plug in. Below is a short description of just a few:
Bible Studies - There are several different Bible studies offered on either Tuesday mornings from 9:30-11:00 a.m. or Wednesday evenings from 6:15-8:00 p.m. Most Bible studies are usually 8-12 weeks long. The topic of studies will be announced on the Home Page or you can contact the church to see what is being offered at the time. We invite you to join us as we connect with God through the study of His word, as we connect with each other by sharing with each other, and praying for each other. The coordinator for this ministry is Linda Snook.
Fellowship Dinners are normally the 3rd Thursday of the month at 6:30 p.m. (except every third month). Dinners are held in different homes throughout the year. The dinners give you a chance to meet other ladies of all ages and share your hearts and lives. Call the church at 536-4227 for more details or the Ministry Coordinators, Jeni Lewis & Kristin Woods.

Prayer Pals - A women's ministry for all ages which meets every third month (correlates with the fellowship dinners). This ministry is geared towards praying for other women in our church. Prayer requests and praises can be shared (in the Prayer Pal basket on the Prayer Pal table) and then at the end of the three-month period, one gift revealing the sister who has been praying for us will be given at the end of our meeting. New names are drawn every three months. Contact the church at 536-4227 or the coordinator, Brenda Patterson, for more details.
Prayer Team - If you are known as a "prayer warrior" among your friends, this is a way for you to plug in to the Women's Ministry. We have implemented a prayer chain among some of the ladies in the church and are always looking for more to be able to lift up our church members, their families, and friends in prayer. If you are interested in this area of ministry, you can contact the coordinator, Barbara Alexander, or call the church office for more information.
Retreats/Conferences - This is an opportunity for ladies to attend trips to conferences such as "Women of Faith" & "Beth Moore" just to name a few. Also, retreats are offered at different times of the year for women to rejuvenate and renew their spirit at quaint locations in the area. The coordinator for these events is Adrienne Wilson.
Scrapbooking and Craft Nights - These are held the same nights as our Parents' Night Out from 6:30-9:30 p.m. Meet in the fellowship hall to work on your favorite craft project and chat with other women who enjoying crafting.
