At FBW, our goal is to make disciples for Jesus Christ. We offer several opportunities for group studies. We have small group Sunday School classes as well as a good selection of discipleship studies on Sunday evenings. We also offer more extended times of fellowship and Bible study through our 2:7 Home Bible study series.

Upcoming Events

Sunday School
Small Groups give individuals an opportunity to connect with others. During this fellowship time, you can build relationships with other members and guests of FBW while studying God’s Word. These groups pray for and with each other, encourage each other, and bear one another’s burdens. We have classes for preschool, children, youth, and adults in all walks of life.

Living a Purposeful Life- Women's Study

Living a Purposeful Life by Sheila Walsh

Study led by Carol Leaming onTuesday mornings at 10am.

Every day we are confronted with decisions- both large and small- that affect the course of our lives. We long to do something of value, to distinguish ourselves, and to leave a lasting legacy for those who follow. In all our endeavors, we want to know we are walking in all the ways the Lord our God has commanded us (see Deuteronomy 5:33).

In Living a Purposeful Life, you will discover what the Bible has to say about truly knowing God’s plans for your life. You will explore how to listen for God’s voice, submit your will to Him, and operate in His timing instead of your own. In the end, you will find that following God is a great adventure that will lead you to places you never expected!

Better: A Study of Hebrews- Women's Study

Better: A Study of Hebrews by Jen Wilkin

Study led by Whitney Perry on Wednesday nights at 6pm

In this verse-by-verse study of the Book of Hebrews, Jen Wilkin explores how God “provided something better for us” in the person of Jesus Christ (Heb. 11:40). Through stories of Old Testament heroes and practices, the author of Hebrews demonstrates how the new covenant is superior to the old and how Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of every promise. Explore familiar verses in context of the entire Bible, learning how to place your hope and faith in Christ alone.

Psalms: The Character of God- Adult Bible Stidy

Psalms: The Character of God

Study led by Bro. Harold Gaches on Wednesday nights at 6pm

The Book of Psalms is a compilation of songs that focus on humanity’s interaction with God. Within these interactions, we discover God’s character as the songwriter speaks of God as a Shepherd, a King, a Redeemer, a Creator, Just, Holy, and more. These songs give us deeper insight into God and how we are to relate to Him as His creation. We find that He loves us and offers the opportunity to be His people and that doing so comes with the expectation of living in light of that relationship.

The focus of this Bible study is on the character of God as revealed in selected Psalms. As we get a glimpse of God’s character, we’ll begin to understand our need for forgiveness and what it means to live as God’s people, demonstrating His character in a fallen world.
