Below are the details of our Reopening. Don’t forget to watch our instructional video at the bottom of the page.

Greetings, Church Family;

It seems like forever since we have been able to be together for worship and fellowship but finally, through much prayer and planning by our staff and leadership, we will be having our first worship service on May 31.

Our top priority is to offer our members and guests a clean and safe worship experience. In order to provide this time, we will be asking everyone to observe some changes that have been made. Please understand that things will look and feel differently than they did before the virus outbreak. We have tried to ensure that we are following the guidelines set by the Governor of Oklahoma as well as the Mayor and City Council of Lawton.  The following is a list of guidelines that you will need to be aware of when attending worship services at FBW.

If you are exhibiting the following symptoms associated with COVID-19, please consider viewing our service on Livestream: fever, cough, shortness of breath, chills, headache, or sore throat.

Note: Certain areas of the church will be closed off in order to keep traffic flow conducive to CDC guidelines.

Service Times:        8:30 & 11:00 (the doors will be unlocked thirty (30) minutes before)

Masks are strongly encouraged, especially during the 8:30 service. This is the service we are setting as the service for those with pre-disposed health concerns.

From the North parking lot: enter through the North doors.

From the South parking lot: enter through the South doors (With the ramp)

Greeters will meet you at the door with a warm greeting. (air hugs or air high fives)

Ushers will show you to your seats to ensure proper distancing.

  • 3 seats between family units or individuals
  • Rows will be marked for each service.
    •   8:30 – RED rows
    • 10:45 – BLUE rows

It would be of great assistance if you would contact the church with the number of people attending with you and which service you will be attending.

We are asking family units to sit together as a group to ensure proper distance and allow as many people to attend as possible. Activity packets will be available during worship times for the children.

The offering plates will NOT be passed around during our service. You will be able to place your offering in the baskets by the doors as you leave the service.

Staff and Ushers:

We will need several volunteers for our ERT and Greeters/Ushers teams. Please help out with this if you can.

All entrances, doors, restrooms, service areas as well as the Worship Center will be cleaned and sanitized before the 8:30 service and again before the 11:00 service. Hand sanitizer will be placed throughout the church.

Bible Study Small Groups:

Small Groups will begin meeting in person on August 16 but they will continue to meet via Zoom. For more information on our Small Groups or for the Zoom link, go to

As you can see, things are going to be different for a while but these temporary changes will not keep God’s Spirit from moving nor keep our worship experience from being a great one. Continue to pray for our staff as we work to make our time together safe and enjoyable. Pray for God’s Spirit to move through our church that we might even see revival come to FBW. God bless you and I love you and I love serving as your pastor.
