Small Groups

Small Groups give individuals an opportunity to connect with others. During this fellowship time, you can build relationships with other members and guests of FBW while studying God’s Word. These groups pray for and with each other, encourage each other, and bear one another’s burdens.

We have Small Groups for all ages!

Unshakable Hope: Building Our Lives on the Promises of God
By Max Lucado

Book Cost: $13

Are you feeling overwhelmed? Disappointed? Worried? In a world full of instability, we don’t need opinions or hunches for help; we require the definitive declarations of our mighty and loving God! For every problem in life, God has given us a promise. Max Lucado reminds us with 12 of the Bible’s most significant promises that we can overcome difficult circumstances by keeping our focus on the hope found in the promises of Scripture. God is not only a Promise Maker; He is also a Promise Keeper! We can depend on Him for every circumstance that comes into our lives.

Plan to join us in August for our Fall Session on Tuesday mornings. Renew your confidence in your Heavenly Father’s ability to walk with you every step of your life of faith.

Men’s Bible Study | Facilitated by Barry Cornish

Leadership in the kingdom of God is different from leadership in the world. Kingdom leaders are people who lead like Jesus. They are servant leaders because they follow Jesus, who “did not come to be served, but to serve” (Mark 10:45). This study paints a biblical portrait of servant leadership as exemplified by Jesus and other leaders in Scripture. You’ll examine the principles of servant leadership that should shape your life and ministry.

Women’s Bible Study | Facilitated by Morgan Sharkey

Book Cost: $6

Freedom is one of the great themes of the Bible. This book is a 12-lesson guide to help a believer understand how to progress toward freedom. Freedom is more than deliverance. It is the place of spiritual healing and restoration that is God’s will for his people.

Youth | Recharge

Recharge is the Youth program which will remind students that we are not limited to what we “empty batteries” are capable of but rather we are empowered by God to do His great works and that the Church is a place in which we “recharge” our batteries.

Children | Awana

The goal of Awana is to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and to train them to serve Him. At First Baptist West, we engage kids in games, activities, and projects to help them develop life-long discipleship. Awana gives kids the opportunity to earn awards for memorization, leadership, and service. Kids develop relationships, expand their Bible knowledge, and learn to serve their church community.

Our program is for children age 3 – grade 6. This year we will be offering both in-person and online participation. Click here to register today!!!
